The wool naturally contains lanolin, which combines with the moisture and salts from the skin (or urine) and saponifies, making sweat odors disappear. We recommend hanging the wool to air out or over the back of a chair and not washing it unless the clothes are actually dirty. Småfolk wool has undergone an easy-care treatment, so it can be machine washed normally. Småfolk recommends washing with detergents specially designed for wool care. The raw wool is 100% mulesing-free.
