Småfolk was founded with a clear mission: to design clothes that stimulate children's imagination and creativity, and that are comfortable to wear. In short: Småfolk is clothing children can live and play in.

Småfolk is known for our colourful and whimsical universe, where children are at the centre. Children love colours and fun prints – and so do we! That's why we use lots of cheerful colours and always have a wide selection of different prints in our collections. Whether it's machines, flowers, cats or dinosaurs, children can easily find their favourite print.

Every print in the Småfolk universe has a story, but the story changes and comes alive with the children. Again and again, we hear from parents that a particular blouse or dress has become a child's favourite – because children create stories from the clothes.

Children stumble, crawl, jump, dance and climb trees. Småfolk clothes are always comfortable for children to wear and made for play (and often become part of the play). Our designs are always carefully adapted to the different needs of children and offer a perfect fit that ensures the child's freedom of movement.

 

Danish Design

Småfolk was founded in Denmark in 2005 and has since become an internationally recognised brand with distributors worldwide. An important part of our DNA are our unique prints, which our talented in-house designers draw themselves, inspired by children.

Comfort and quality are very important to us, and we were one of the first in Denmark to introduce children's clothing made from organic materials. To ensure that our clothes last season after season, it is important to us to create timeless designs and choose high-quality materials that help extend the life of the clothing.

 

Carefully selected materials

We choose our materials based on what best suits the product's design and function. And we always obtain certificates from our suppliers for our organic dosing products to ensure that these are materials we can stand behind. It is important to us to use only materials that make sense for our products and customers. Organic cotton is the main material we use in our products.

All our products are of course Oeko-Tex certified, so you can always be sure that our collections are safe, skin-friendly and harmless for your children.
